Soon after you hit the Meerut Road from Delhi, you will witness them dotting the roads and sideways rather imposingly. It looks terribly ugly, with its hood cover open laying bare its inner contraptions. When in motion, you can actually feel its interiors snorting, whishing, puffing and swooshing in comical orchestration.

good posts!wish u happy journeying.
Hahaha..I've journeyed on such similar contraptions while I was touring in some parts of Madhya Pradesh in December 2007. Once I agreed to pay double of their meager rate to sit in comfort (!) for occupying 2 seats next to the driver while people behind were crammed like sardines. I recall reaching from Bedhaghat to Jabalpur that way, and that took more than an hour for a short journey!
@indicaspecies: oh u find them in MP as well.. hmm..yes they looked really interesting that merited a post.. keep visiting

While it is important to have good writing skills, that is only part of writing a good article. Obviously you possess these skills, but you also have a special flair for informative writing. Well done.
It’s very nice to find articles like yours. I am glad I had the opportunity to read your article. I think it’s interesting, intelligent and very original. I hope you are going to write more.
